Memory: The thing at the desk is no longer the headmaster. (Trivial Negative)
Game: PARENTING
Day: 155
What it is:
You're in the chemistry lab. Ryouta and Sakuya burst in, looking distressed.
RYOUTA: Mister Nanaki!
KAZUAKI: Welcome back. Have you found anything interesting?
SAKUYA: Yet another suspicious individual. But, we should speak with the headmaster first. Have you gotten the key?
KAZUAKI: Yes, I have. Right here.
RYOUTA: Thank you, sir!
KAZUAKI: Well, let's go have a look, shall we?
YUUYA: The doctor and I will be here. Be careful. Adieu!
You step out into the hallway. There are no signs of the scarecrow the students saw earlier.
KAZUAKI: That's good. If I had to fly away from something like that I might panic and hit the ceiling.
SAKUYA: We should hear it dragging its arm when it moves, so we'll have plenty of time to get away. Let's go in!
KAZUAKI: Right, right. Let's see...
You open the door to the headmaster's office.
RYOUTA: Excuse us! ... Maybe he's not here?
SAKUYA: Hrrm. That, or hiding.
There's somebirdie at the desk. He's sitting with his back to you, but his feathers are the unmistakeable green of a nicobar.
SAKUYA: Speak to us, headmaster! Have you gone deaf!?
RYOUTA: Sakuya, be polite! Japan is the country of courtesy, after all.
SAKUYA: Is it his fault or mine that we had to come here? Headmaster, will you--
He pauses, shocked.
SAKUYA: Th... this...
RYOUTA: S-sakuya...? ...!
The thing here... is no longer the headmaster. His half-closed eyes are dull and cloudy. The skin showing beneath his feathers is pallid.
SAKUYA: What... what madness...!?
RYOUTA: H-him too...?
